Coorg, also known as the Scotland of India, is a stunning hill station with misty hills, lush green valleys, evergreen forests and breathtaking waterfalls. Located in the southern part of Karnataka, it is a small district in the state with distinct culture and tradition.

The zigzag roads wander over forested hills and past spice and coffee plantations, which burst into aromatic white blossoms in March and April. Dubare Elephant Camp :

Dubare is an elephant capturing and training camp of the Forest Department of Coorg.


At the bottom of the Kodagus highest peak, Tadiyendamol is the charming Nalakunad Palace, the restored hunting lodge of a Kodagu king dating from 1794. Within walking distance are a number of outstanding places to camp. The structure is not in a good form now but people still visit here because of the story and history attcahed to the place. You can still see some faded murals here which tell a lot about the articans from the bygone era. So, do make sure to pay a small visit here whenever you are visiting Coorg.

Omkareshwar Temple :

​Omkareshwara Temple is located at the heart of the Madikeri hill station.
