In addition to the Mi Note 2 flagship, Xiaomi has also unveiled a new virtual reality headset called the Mi VR at its event in China today. It is the companys second VR headset after the Mi VR Play, which was unveiled in August. The new Mi VR comes equipped with a dedicated hardware-level motion sensor. You can enjoy VR content from the MIUI VR store, which currently has over 30 VR apps, 500+ panoramic videos, and over 200 registered developers.

The Xiaomi Mi VR sports a 9-axis inertial motion controller, which is a step up from the Mi VR Play.

The Mi VR sports super low latency of 16 ms. The wearable is compatible with the Mi Note 2, Mi 5s Plus, Mi 5s, and the Mi 5 smartphones. The device has been priced at RMB 199, which is roughly Rs 1,960. To compare, the Mi VR Play was a much affordable offering at around Rs 500.
