Beaches Goa is most visited for its beautiful beaches.

Goa boasts of a wide range of beaches from the quiet, unspoilt pristine beaches to the more crowded and happening beaches. The famous and happening beaches include Vagator, Calangute, Colva, Majorda and Palolem.

Churches Goa churches enjoy their share of popularity. There are several churches in the state owing to the long history of Portuguese rule in Goa. These churches other than being a place of worship, also makes for beautiful pieces of architecture from by gone days. Some of the popular churches in Goa are St Cathedral Church, St Francis of Assisi, Basilica of Bom Jesus, St Augustine Church among others.

Dona Paula for a birds-eye scenery The Lovers Paradise - as it is called, Dona Paula Jetty is located on the beautiful and famous sea stretch that spans from Panjim, Miramar and Dona Paula. A thrilling breeze blows over this place and the view is very scenic. This idyllic rocky tourist attraction lies at the spot where the Mandovi and the Zuari rivers meet the Arabian Sea.

Markets The Anjuna flea market is held every Wednesday from morning until evening, except during the monsoon season, on the southern end of Anjuna Beach. The market has has exploded in size and attracts people from all over Goa. Its now got over 500 stalls, and is still growing.

Forts Goa has several imposing forts. Most of these lie along the coast of Goa while a few lie in the hinterland. Wildlife sanctuaries Around 20% of Goa consists of wildlife sanctuaries. They are open all year round, although October to March are the best months to visit.

Islands Goa is also famous for islands, There are some famous islands in Goa - Bats Island, Divar Island.

Dudhsagar waterfalls Dudhsagar which means "sea of milk" derives its name from the white foam created from the force of the water as it gushes. It is perched in the high peaks of the Western Ghats and is a sight to behold. Measuring a mighty 600m from head to foot, this waterfall is on the Goa-Karnataka border.
