Cabbage chilli Paratha

Ingredients – Cabbage – (chopped, boiled and mashed), whole wheat flour – 2 cups, vegetable oil – 3 tbsp, red chilli and turmeric powder – ½ tsp each, fresh coriander – as required, butter – 2 tbsp (melted), salt – 1 tsp

Method – Combine the boiled and mashed cabbage, salt, chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander and 3 tbsp vegetable oil in a bowl and mix well adding water and the whole wheat flour. Knead until it forms into thick dough. Divide the dough into lemon sized balls and roll them on a lightly floured surface to ¼ inch thickness. Cook the chapattis using up to 1 tsp oil on each side. Cook until brown spots begin to form. Brush with melted butter and serve hot.
